Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to communicate with referral partners as well as resident what the admission criteria and intake process are comprised of for Next Steps Housing.
Scope
This policy applies to all residents and referral partners of Next Steps Housing.
- Admission Criteria
- Sober for 30+ Days, ideally having completed a 28 day program.
- Actively engage in recovery (meetings, counseling, etc.)
- Employed or actively seeking work
- Financially responsible/ capable of paying rent
- Team oriented and willing to participate actively in the household.
- Intake Process
- Apply Online: Prospective residents need to apply online for consideration at nextstepshousing.org
- Interview: An interview will be conducted with the house manager to determine if we are a good fit for each other
- Onboarding Paperwork: Residents will be required to complete all onboarding paperwork prior to move-in.
- Payment: Security deposit and first week/months’ rent due prior to move in
